A good natural anti-oxidant is typically a mixture of several compounds. The enzyme 5α:-Reductase plays an important part in the development of acne, as it is responsible for a gradual increase in the production of sebum. In sabotaging this enzyme, the two components CAPRYLOYL GLYCINE and UNDECYLENIC GLYCINE cause the sebum production to decrease. Second, in a combined effort CAPRYLOYL GLYCINE and UNDECYLENIC GLYCINE create a favourable bactericidal effect, because they destroy the Propionibacterium Acnes, a skin bacterium which has a key role in the development of acne. Furthermore, it’s important to know that the qualities mentioned above are also applicable in shampoos for dandruff treatment.

Keratolytic in higher concentrations, which prevents severe keratinization, and also antiseptic: these qualities make this product very effective when caring for acne type of skin.
