Item description

Directions for use

The “Méthode de Nettoyage Sophie” is a “semi-solid” oil based balm, after applying and emulsifying with water, a soft cleansing emulsion will be formed, along with the effective activity. Use: with your fingers, while massaging, you will mix this balm with water until a white “milk” appears.

In this way your skin is made receptive to have the most optimal effect from the Charlotte Sophie Cosmétique creams.

“Méthode de Nettoyage Sophie” is different. Cleansing with the Sophie Method is not cleansing, a proper description would be: Pre-Treatment Phase, with Lauric Acid and Oleifera Oil.

The components consist exclusively of the most refined oils and active agents with 100% effectiveness. It goes without saying, if Royal Class is your Style.

ACTIVE INGREDIENTS

Babassu (INCI: ORBIGNYA OLEIFERA SEED OIL) grows in the Amazon rainforest and is an important source of income for local people/regional economy. Was traditionally used for wound healing; is rich in Lauric Acid. Lauric Acid also occurs naturally in breast milk, where it has antibacterial and antiviral properties.

Sweet Almond Oil (Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis Oil) is a natural oil with skin-softening properties, preserves the moisture balance in the skin. Therefore, it is very suitable for dry and dehydrated skin.A special ingredient of this oil is Palmitoleic Acid. Regarding the skin, it is written about Palmitoleic Acid that it helps to reduce dermatitis and eczema: furthermore, it supports the regeneration of the cell.In addition, the fatty acid fraction consists largely of mono- and polyunsaturated fatty acids: ± 69% Oleic and ± 23% Linoleic n-6. The oil is mild-occlusive, so it is used as a moisturiser, reducing the TEWL.

Glycerin is a small molecule that attracts water and binds it. These characteristics also make it a valuable ingredient for the Natural Moisturing Factor, which is responsible for the natural moisture balance in the skin.

At the end of the 18th century, long before the petrochemical industry was formed by mankind, the German Carl Wilhelm Scheele produced Glycerin for the first time in history by the saponification of olive oil. Although many changes were made ever since, the production process of gaining vegetable Glycerin from natural oil basically remained unchanged. Only the demands with respect to purity were optimized according to the latest pharmaceutical bench marks. In other words, this means that Medex created its products with pure, vegetable Glycerin.

Natural emulsifier with advanced antibacterial properties. Supports the skin barrier and is also anti-irritant.
